One Piece Card Game: Set Sail Deck Set This Month, OP-18 on the Horizon

September is shaping up to be a big month for One Piece TCG collectors: the Set Sail Deck Set arrives on 18 September, and all eyes are now turning to OP-18, expected late November 2026.

September is already busy for One Piece Card Game fans. With OP-17 The World's Strongest Warriors freshly on shelves, Bandai's pipeline is moving quickly — and there are two more releases worth putting in your diary right now.

Set Sail Deck Set — 18 September 2026

The most immediate release is the Set Sail Deck Set, confirmed by Bandai's official Next Plan 2026 page for 18 September. This product is aimed squarely at newer players and those wanting a structured, ready-to-play entry point into the game, but it also carries interest for veterans who want a clean, themed starting point for a new deck project. Bandai has confirmed store events will accompany the Starter Deck window, so it is worth checking with your local game store about any launch-day activity.

Following close behind, the Premium Card Collection — a set gathering cards frequently used in competitive play — is scheduled for 30 October 2026. If you have been chasing staples for existing decks, that product is worth keeping an eye on.

What We Know About OP-18

Look further ahead and OP-18 is already generating real conversation in the community. Bandai has not yet issued an official release date, but multiple international retailers are pointing to a late November 2026 window for the English release — treat any specific date as an estimate until Bandai confirms.

What makes OP-18 notable even at this early stage is the confirmed presence of a brand-new Leader card: a character who has never before held Leader status in the game. Because the competitive metagame is built almost entirely around Leader identity, the debut of a genuinely new Leader reshapes deckbuilding discussion immediately — even before a single card image is public. Alongside that, Bandai has indicated three themes will feature in the set, including one that is entirely new to the card game.

As of now, no card names, artwork, or mechanics have been officially revealed for OP-18, so anything circulating beyond the above is speculation or unverified leaks. Bandai has historically previewed mainline sets two to four months before street date, which means an official reveal should arrive sometime this autumn.

A Packed Q4 for One Piece Collectors

Taken together, the One Piece Card Game schedule from now through the end of 2026 is one of the busiest the game has seen: Set Sail Deck Set (18 September), the Premium Card Collection (30 October), and OP-18 (expected late November). Budget planning is genuinely worth doing now rather than later — particularly given that Bandai has moved to a simultaneous worldwide release model for mainline sets, which tends to tighten allocation and speed up sell-through on booster box pre-orders.

Keep an eye on Bandai's official channels for the OP-18 reveal date, and check with your local retailer about pre-order availability. We will cover the spoiler season in full as soon as cards start dropping.
