This Privacy Policy explains how TCG Listing ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use TCGListing.co.uk. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR"), the Data Protection Act 2018 and applicable privacy laws.

3. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Account information — name, username, email address, telephone number, and an encrypted password.
  • Identity verification information — date of birth, identity documents where required, and seller verification information.
  • Address information — billing, delivery and business addresses.
  • Business information — business name, VAT information and trading information.
  • Transaction information — purchases, sales, refunds and payout history.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information, usage data and cookie information.
  • Communications — messages to support, dispute information, and reports and complaints.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • facilitate transactions and process payouts;
  • verify users and prevent fraud;
  • resolve disputes;
  • improve our services and provide customer support;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • send marketing communications where permitted.

6. Marketing communications

We may send product updates, service announcements, promotional offers and newsletters. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, from your email preferences, or by contacting us.

We send marketing email on one of two bases:

  • Your consent — you opted in at sign-up, from a prompt on the site, or in your email preferences.
  • Soft opt-in — you bought from us, so we may tell you about similar products (permitted by regulation 22 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). We offer an opt-out every time.

Opting out always takes precedence: once you unsubscribe we will not re-add you to marketing, including after a later purchase.

We use Loops to send marketing email. If you are in our marketing audience we share your email address, first name, account type, the date you joined, and the date you last used the site with Loops, so that our emails are relevant and we do not email people who are already active. If you have not opted in (and have not bought from us), we do not create a Loops contact for you at all. Transactional emails about your orders are sent separately and are not affected by your marketing preferences.

7. Sharing information

We may share information with Stripe, Loops and other email providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, fraud-prevention services, professional advisers, regulators and law enforcement. We do not sell personal information.

8. Stripe

Payments are processed through Stripe. Payment information is handled by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's privacy policies. TCG Listing does not store full payment card details.

9. PostHog analytics

We use PostHog analytics to understand platform usage and improve our services. Analytics data may include browsing behaviour, device information and usage patterns. See our Cookies Policy.

10. Advertising

We display third-party adverts through Google AdSense and use Google Ads to measure and promote our services. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure adverts, including personalised adverts based on your prior visits. Advertising cookies are only set where you have given consent; until then, Google Consent Mode keeps them off and any adverts shown are non-personalised. 11. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law.

Where personal information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we will implement appropriate safeguards.

13. Your rights

You may have the right to:

  • access your data;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete your data;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing;
  • request data portability;
