Refund & Returns Policy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

1. Purpose

This Refund & Returns Policy explains how refunds, returns and transaction disputes are handled on TCG Listing.

TCG Listing operates as an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers and is not the seller of products listed on the Platform.

2. General principles

  • The contract for sale exists between the buyer and seller.
  • TCG Listing may investigate disputes and facilitate resolutions under this Policy.
  • Nothing in this Policy affects any statutory rights available under applicable law.

3. Circumstances where returns may be required

A return may be required where:

  • the item received is materially different from the listing description;
  • the wrong item was sent;
  • the item is determined to be counterfeit;
  • the item is significantly damaged and the damage was not disclosed in the listing;
  • the seller agrees to accept a return.

TCG Listing may determine whether a return is required based on available evidence.

4. Buyer remorse

Returns will generally not be approved solely because:

  • the buyer changed their mind;
  • the buyer no longer wants the item;
  • market prices have changed;
  • the buyer failed to read the listing.

Business sellers may have additional legal obligations under consumer protection laws.

5. Evidence requirements

To open a return or refund request, buyers may be required to provide:

  • clear photographs;
  • videos where appropriate;
  • screenshots;
  • tracking information;
  • expert opinions;
  • authentication reports;
  • communications with the seller.

Failure to provide requested evidence may result in rejection of the claim.

6. Counterfeit item claims

Where a buyer believes an item is counterfeit, the buyer must submit reasonable evidence supporting the claim. TCG Listing may request:

  • additional photographs;
  • authentication evidence;
  • expert assessment;
  • proof of purchase from the seller.

The seller may also be asked to provide evidence supporting authenticity.

If TCG Listing determines that an item is likely counterfeit:

  • a return may be required;
  • a refund may be issued;
  • seller privileges may be restricted;
  • listings may be removed;
  • seller payouts may be delayed or withheld pending investigation.

Repeated counterfeit activity may result in permanent account suspension.

7. Return shipping costs

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed between the parties:

  • the buyer is responsible for return postage costs;
  • buyers are strongly encouraged to use tracked delivery services;
  • TCG Listing shall not be responsible for return shipping costs.

8. Return requirements

Returned items must:

  • be returned in substantially the same condition received;
  • include all original contents where applicable;
  • be packaged appropriately to prevent damage.

Failure to comply may affect eligibility for a refund.

9. Damaged items

Where an item arrives damaged, the buyer should report the issue within a reasonable period and provide:

  • photographs of the item;
  • photographs of packaging;
  • any relevant delivery information.

TCG Listing may review evidence and determine whether a refund, return or other resolution is appropriate.

10. Lost parcel claims

Where an item is not received, the seller is responsible for raising an investigation with the relevant delivery company. The seller may be required to provide:

  • proof of dispatch;
  • tracking information;
  • correspondence with the delivery company;
  • claim reference numbers where available.

TCG Listing may request this information as part of its investigation. Where evidence suggests that the item was not delivered, TCG Listing may determine that a refund is appropriate.

11. Refund processing

Approved refunds may be processed through Stripe. Refund times may vary depending on:

  • payment provider processing times;
  • banking systems;
  • transaction circumstances.

12. Abuse of the refund system

Users must not submit fraudulent claims, misrepresent evidence, or abuse dispute procedures. Abuse may result in:

  • account suspension;
  • restriction of marketplace privileges;
  • permanent account closure.

13. Platform discretion

TCG Listing reserves the right to investigate disputes and make decisions based upon available evidence. Decisions are made in good faith and are intended to support a fair marketplace environment.
