Pokémon TCG Delta Reign: Every Card Confirmed So Far — Mega Rayquaza, the Legendary Stadiums, and the Chase Cards to Watch
By TCG Listing · 20 Sept 2026

Spoiler season for Delta Reign is well under way, and the picture is already sharper than you might expect. Here's everything confirmed for November's sixth Mega Evolution set.
With Delta Reign's prerelease now seven weeks away, the card-reveal trickle has turned into a proper stream. Between the initial official announcement on 20 August, the first English scans that arrived the same day, and the Illustration Rare Eevee revealed on 12 September, collectors have a solid preview of what the sixth Mega Evolution expansion actually contains — and it's shaping up to be one of the more mechanically interesting sets in the series.
The Confirmed Mega Evolution ex Cards
Four Mega Evolution ex Pokémon headline the set. Mega Rayquaza ex sits at the top as the flagship card, appearing in both a Special Illustration Rare and a Mega Hyper Rare (gold) version — the latter already tracking as one of the most anticipated pulls in the entire Mega Evolution block, based on prices its Japanese counterpart achieved after Storm Emeralda launched on 31 July. Alongside Rayquaza, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex round out the four Mega ex cards in the set.
Mega Rayquaza ex is Colourless — and that matters, as we'll see when we look at the new Stadium mechanic.
The Legendary Stadium Mechanic: A First for the Series
Delta Reign introduces something genuinely new to the Pokémon TCG: split Legendary Stadium cards. Each Legendary Stadium is actually a pair of Uncommon Stadium cards sharing one illustration printed across both halves. Crucially, both halves must be played from your hand simultaneously to put the Stadium into play — meaning you need to draw both cards before you can activate it.
Three Legendary Stadiums have been confirmed: Legendary Ocean Trench, Legendary Summit, and Legendary Lava Lake. The two-part design is a clear nod to classic split-card artwork, and the mechanic adds a meaningful deckbuilding consideration that the series hasn't seen before.
Legendary Summit's effect is already generating competitive discussion: whenever a Colourless Pokémon is knocked out by an attack, its owner gives up one fewer Prize card. Given that Mega Rayquaza ex is Colourless and the Mega Evolution rule normally hands your opponent three Prizes when one is knocked out, Legendary Summit effectively reduces that cost to two — a significant swing that deck-builders will want to factor in.
Secret Rares: What the Numbers Tell Us
The full set is expected to land at 140 cards: a 103-card main set plus 37 secret rares. Those 37 secret rares break down into 14 Illustration Rares, 17 Ultra Rares, and 6 Special Illustration Rares — a healthy spread that gives collectors a range of targets at different price points.
Beyond the Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Hyper Rare, two other cards are already drawing attention: Raikou ex in Special Illustration Rare form, and Zinnia's Trust as a Special Illustration Rare Trainer. Based on how Storm Emeralda's Japanese market settled, these three are the likeliest chase cards at launch — though six weeks of further reveals could always shift the conversation.
The 12 September reveal of Eevee as Illustration Rare 114/103 was notably the first confirmed English secret rare from the set, giving collectors a concrete early data point on numbering. English names, numbering, and exact rarities for the remaining secret rares are still unconfirmed, so the picture will sharpen considerably as prerelease approaches.
Products and What to Expect at Retail
The product line follows the established Mega Evolution pattern: booster packs (10 cards each, plus an Energy and a Pokémon TCG Live code card), 36-count and 18-count booster displays, an Elite Trainer Box, a three-pack blister, single-pack blisters, and a six-pack booster bundle. The Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box will feature the Kyogre Illustration Rare — originally from Storm Emeralda — as its promo card.
Preorders should open at major retailers roughly a month before the 6 November release date, following the pattern set by the previous two Mega Evolution expansions. If you're planning to pick up sealed product, that puts the preorder window opening around early-to-mid October — right around the time prerelease events are running (24 October to 1 November).
With spoiler season accelerating and six weeks still to go before release, Delta Reign is only going to get more talked about. Keep an eye on our blog for card-by-card breakdowns as the full set list comes into focus.
