Pokémon TCG Delta Reign: Legendary Pyroduct Revealed — The Latest English Cards Ahead of Prerelease
By TCG Listing · 6 Oct 2026

A fresh batch of Delta Reign cards landed yesterday, including the English translation of the Legendary Lava Lake stadium as 'Legendary Pyroduct'. Here's everything just revealed ahead of the 24 October prerelease.
With Delta Reign prerelease events just 18 days away, The Pokémon Company International is keeping the card reveals coming thick and fast. Yesterday's drop — dated 5 October 2026 — is one of the most interesting batches yet, and if you've been following the Japanese Storm Emeralda set you'll immediately notice one notable translation decision.
Legendary Pyroduct: A Name Worth Knowing
The headline from yesterday's reveal batch is the English name for the stadium card known in Japan as Legendary Lava Lake. TPCi has translated it as Legendary Pyroduct — and the name is more than a stylistic choice. A pyroduct is a real geological term: a natural underground conduit, or lava tube, formed by flowing lava. It's a neat bit of flavour-text logic that ties the card's name directly to its volcanic theme, and it's the sort of thing that tends to catch collectors' attention when they're reading card text at the prerelease table.
This is one of the Legendary Stadium cards that has been a talking point for Delta Reign since the set was first outlined. Alongside the previously confirmed Legendary stadiums, Pyroduct will be one to watch for both gameplay and collector interest.
What Else Has Been Revealed?
Yesterday's batch was not just the stadium. Several more English cards were shown for the first time, continuing a reveal schedule that has been running since 20 August. At the time of writing, 44 of the set's 140 cards have now been confirmed in English — a little under a third of the full list.
The set draws its English content from a combination of sources. The bulk comes from Japan's Storm Emeralda, which released on 31 July, but Delta Reign also pulls in 30 unique cards from the accompanying Japanese MEGA Starter Decks (featuring Eevee ex, Zoroark ex, and Meowscarada ex) as well as leftover Japanese Gym promos, one of which is a card named Grisham. That layered sourcing means there is genuine new content here even for players who tracked the Japanese release closely.
Earlier in the reveal season, notable cards to emerge have included Mega Golisopod ex, Wishiwashi ex, Raikou ex (a Double Rare added from the 22 September press images), and an Illustration Rare Zorua that landed on 4 October. Yesterday's Legendary Pyroduct adds another piece to that puzzle.
Prerelease in Three Weeks — What to Expect
Delta Reign prerelease events run from 24 October to 1 November 2026 at Pokémon-approved game stores. The full wide release follows on 6 November 2026, making this the final major Pokémon TCG expansion of the year.
At prerelease, players build a 40-card deck using the contents of a Build & Battle Box, which includes one of four foil promo cards — Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus, or Kommo-o — inserted at random alongside four Delta Reign booster packs. All four promos are alternate-art versions of cards in the main set, each stamped with the Delta Reign logo. Build & Battle Boxes will not go on general sale until the 6 November launch date, so the prerelease is your only route to opening one early.
For those heading along, the Masquerain promo is already generating chatter for its "Bug Out" attack, which rewards having multiple Bug-type Pokémon in play — a mechanic that could make for interesting prerelease deckbuilding if enough Bug Out cards are scattered through the booster packs in the box.
Keep an Eye on the Remaining Reveals
With just over 30% of the set revealed in English and the prerelease now under three weeks away, the pace of card drops is set to accelerate. The Legendary stadiums are likely to remain the most-discussed mechanic in the set — Legendary Pyroduct is almost certainly not the last of them — while the Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare slots are still largely unspoiled.
If you're planning to attend a prerelease at your local game store, now is a good time to check in with them about event registration. Spots at popular stores tend to fill up quickly once reveal season reaches this stage.
